i understand how our knowledge of the past is constructed through analysis of primary sources of many kinds...

how do we know about the past? when you think about all the junk historians shove into our brains, we kinda just take the facts they throw at us as true. how do they know that crap? they certainly did not live in some of the time periods they talk about, even though some of them are pretty dern old...seriously! how do they know? well i know that they know what they know because we have primary sources! a primary source is pretty much anything you could think of that lets you into the mindset of the people in a given time period. a letter, a song, a picture, a book, a gun, a computer, a newspaper, a hat, as i said, it can be whatever your little heart desires. SOOOO with that being said, click on my picture and check out my primary source musuem. ha, that is a little redundant cause most musuems are made up of primary sources anyway!
