With the negative things that happened, a few good things came out of the New Imperialism. 1. the economy improved because of over-seas expansion, 2. new resources were found, such as oil, and 3. Indian widows no longer had to be thrown into a fire. During the New Imperialism the economy in Europe was really good, with all the merchants being able to sell over-seas. Thus making Europeans more wealthy. Second there were new resources found that still effect of lives today. Oil was found in Iran, though it caused arguments and war, it is a very important resource. Thirdddd, the Europeans said Indian widows were allowed to remarry they no longer had to be thrown in fires, this kinda caused a bit of controversy amongst the men folk, but the women were very happy and saw this as a major plusss.
